Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 October 2026
This policy explains what the MakeUpTakeUp app (Android, package com.makeuptakeup.app) does with your information. In short: your camera image never leaves your phone, and the app is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob.
Camera and face image
MakeUpTakeUp uses your front camera so you can try makeup on your face, live. Camera frames and face points are processed only on your phone, in real time.
No image, face data or biometric information is uploaded to a server, stored or shared with third parties.
Photos you save
When you take a photo, it is saved only to your phone's gallery. If you choose to share it, it is sent to the app you pick, with your approval.
Ads
The app is free and shows Google AdMob ads. To show and measure ads, AdMob may collect data such as your device's advertising ID, approximate location (from your IP address) and app interaction data.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, your consent is requested for ad personalization. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
Store links
When you open a product in an online store, that store's own privacy policy applies. Some of these links may be affiliate links.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
No account
MakeUpTakeUp has no user accounts. The app does not ask for your name, email address or other contact details.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
